I have not yet decided whether to implement a similar discount for the SBL Greek NT diagrams, since they are already priced quite low compared to NA28. I would welcome inquiries through the
on the Home page from teachers for whom the availability of a discount would make the difference in whether the diagrams are usable in their school's situation.
I am happy to provide some discount for textbook-type use of the NA28 diagrams in an academic setting. These discounts would apply to either the locked or unlocked version of the complete sets; no discounts on the subsets. Though I want to be somewhat flexible to accommodate individual situations, my preferred arrangement is as follows.
1. A teacher listed on the faculty roster of an institution with a website may
contact me
to request an examination copy of the unlocked version of the diagrams at a 20% discount, via a one-time coupon code that I would supply. This request should come, if at all possible, from your school email address (e.g., [YourName]@[YourSchool].edu).
2. Upon textbook adoption and purchase by at least 5 students within roughly one calendar year, as detailed below, the discounted purchase price will be refunded (assuming that I am still alive and in business--which I have every reason to expect should be the case).
3. If you adopt the diagrams as a required or recommended text, you would then supply by email a copy of the relevant course syllabus. Screen snips of an online version of the syllabus would also be acceptable: one showing the course information, including the teacher's name and basic course data (title, dates, etc.), and another showing the textbook information.
4. I would create a coupon code for students to use, providing a $5 discount on either the locked or unlocked version of the complete set of diagrams. This coupon would also be the means I would use to track your student purchases for the purpose of verifying your right to a refund of your exam copy price. So your syllabus should specify the coupon code. Your students would be at liberty to share the code with friends and their social media networks, which could help teachers of small classes reach the 5-copy threshold.
5. I will periodically review the discount codes to check for refunds due. You would be welcome at any time to request a review, if you think that you've met the 5-student threshold and you have not yet received word of your refund. Refunds will be processed back to the method of payment. In the event that the purchase method is no longer available, we will work out an agreeable alternative on an individual basis.
6. Deeper discounts may be available for second- and third-world settings, on a case-by-case basis. Please
contact me
to discuss specifics.
Economically Disadvantaged Buyers
Buyers in second- and third-world settings, and others for whom first-world prices are a genuine hardship, may
contact me
to discuss the possibility of a suitable discount. While I want to accommodate genuine needs, I cannot promise to be able to do so on ideal terms.
Also, see note at the top of this page regarding a low-priced version of the SBLGNT diagrams!
