This PDF file discusses the goal of exegesis and some of its key presuppositions as context within which to list and develop a number of valuable benefits gained from sentence diagramming.
I have a YouTube channel, and numerous videos on diagramming are now available there. I am in the process of producing a whole series on diagramming, starting from square one (maybe you could call it square zero!) and going up to the highest level of difficulty. If you like what you see, please subscribe!
I host a Facebook group, "Greek NT Diagramming," for open-ended discussion of Greek diagramming. I'd love for you to take a look and, if you like what you see, join our membership of nearly 5,000 from all over the world. Most discussion is of course in English, but I would like to see discussion develop in other languages as well.
PowerPoint Sentence Diagramming Environment
Note on March 30, 2020: I have uploaded a significant revision to the template that greatly improves vertical alignment between adjacent diagramming symbols. I encourage any who have used an earlier version to download again to get this significant upgrade.

Note on June 1, 2020: I have uploaded another revision that shortens the length of many symbols. In my experience diagramming in this environment, I sensed that I was taking time to shorten well above 50% of the diagramming symbols. I have shortened them enough that I don't think they'll seem excessively long with any but perhaps the shortest words. Lengthening will now be required for numerous words , but I don't think these symbols will need to be lengthened nearly as often as the longer ones needed to be shortened for attractive appearance and space efficiency. I hope that the current length will provide for pretty close to maximum time efficiency.
Click to download a free PowerPoint file (but see below for another method of acquisition that may be attractive) set up to facilitate drawing diagrams electronically.

I expect no payment at all for this template, but any who may want to contribute a few dollars are welcome to contact me for instructions, or else just buy a set of the sentence diagrams for sale on this site and view the template as a bonus item. If you've already bought the diagrams, please do accept the template as a gift.

If you would like to be notified by email of any updates to the template, or if you are thinking of buying the diagrams and would like to see how the purchase and download process works before deciding, you can download the template at no charge through my e-commerce provider. You will have to accept license terms, but the first paragraph of the terms indicates that they apply only to the NT Greek diagrams files, so by clicking Accept, you will be agreeing to nothing regarding this template. (Unfortunately, the option to require agreement with terms is an account-level rather than a product-level option, so I cannot omit this step for this free template). You will be asked for your name, address, and email address, and you will then receive a message containing a link for the download. Once you have downloaded the template by this means, there's no need to repeat this longer process to continue getting updates (unless you want to change the address to which updates are sent). Just use the above link for a direct download.

NOTE: My e-commerce provider's recent technical difficulties seem to be resolved. If the transaction does not work, though, please try again later!

A series of videos supporting use of the template is available on my YouTube channel, consisting of the following:
  • Part 1: How to get the template (which you obviously don't need, since you've already found the source!)
  • Part 2: A general tour of the template and how to use it. This video is in two forms:
    • Part 2a: A longer version for people lacking detailed experience working with PowerPoint shapes (drawing objects)
    • Part 2b: A shorter version for people needing little or no PowerPoint instruction
  • Part 3: A demonstration of drawing a moderately complex diagram
  • Part 4: Converting diagrams to 8.5 x 11 inch page size
  • Part 5: Detailed information on how to use and manipulate the various diagramming symbols
Note that these videos do not provide much information about sentence diagramming as such; the information they provide is about how to use the PowerPoint template to create diagrams in electronic form. (For videos on how to diagram, please visit my YouTube channel.) The final two slides of the template are help slides that contains both written instructions and this same list of linked videos, as well as links to the particular spots in the Part 5 video at which each diagramming symbol is discussed.
